Biography

Carol Reeves is the recently retired Associate Vice-Chancellor for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Arkansas. She has mentored more than 100 interdisciplinary undergraduate and graduate startup teams that won $3.3 million in cash prizes, started 23 high-growth businesses, and raised over $100 million to build their enterprises. She initiated and hosted a very successful five-campus interdisciplinary faculty commercialization retreat that led to businesses, interdisciplinary research, and grants. Reeves won numerous awards for her work, including being named one of the 10 most powerful Women Entrepreneurs by Fortune magazine, receiving the SEC Faculty Achievement award, and receiving the Arkansas Alumni Association award for teaching excellence. She served as the Fulbright-Kathryn and Craig Hall Distinguished Chair for Entrepreneurship in Central Europe in 2020-2021.
